Overview
Apiliotis is a captivating sweet red wine by Domaine Sigalas in Santorini, made from the Mandilaria variety. The extremely ripe red grapes of the Mandilaria variety are harvested and placed on nets on the ground. They are left there for 12-15 days to dehydrate, resulting in exceptionally dense grapes that produce a condensed red sweet wine, with aromas of red fruit, jam, honey, smoke and herbs.
Ideal for accompanying chocolate-based desserts (chocolate soufflé, chocolate log, brownies, chocolate mousse), it can elevate the dining experience at restaurants or at home to new heights.
